One immemorial Amon Duul II live (sample, 6:01) was 1971 at the Taverne de l'Olympia. John Weinzirl-guitar-voice, Chris Karrer-guitar-violin-voice, Lothar Meid-bass, Karl Hausmann-organ, Danniel Scher-percussion, and Peter Leopold-drums.
My favorire evergreen is 'Man-Erg' Van Der Graaf Generator playing this song during their 2005 reunion tour, live at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, Sunday 13th November 2005. VDGG Man-Erg, 9:58.
Yeah! I can feel when I was sixteen, and Man-Erg and Pawn Heerts album exploded my young head. :)
To night we ´ll on offer a few sample from the album Trisector by Van der Graaf Generator. Trisector is second album since reforming in 2004 after a break of nearly 30 years, and is stronger act then their 2005 return offering Present. A Guitar by John Cipollina whose style was quite unique with the charismatic rocker and singer Dino Valente. As a matter of fact the band had its most recognizable about this single Fresh Air,

And then: Welsh Rock Band MAN, one of the world´ s most underrated progressive rock band, performing Live at the Rex in Lorsch, Germany. The Man band first came together as the Bystanders in 1964. The band were one of many pop bands in the sixties that were trying to climb the ladder of success and managed to release many singles during the period between 1964 and 1968. The band became Man when Deke Leonard from another Welsh band The Dream joined and the band signed to Pye records. The music that the Man band performed however was very much removed from the pop sensibilities of The Bystanders and more in keeping with the West Coast sound of American bands such as The Quicksilver Messenger Service. The band would record two albums for Pye (Revelation and 2ozs Of Plastic With A Hole In The Middle) before leaving the label to sign with the more progressively minded Liberty records in 1970 and were to remain with the label until 1976 when they signed with MCA.

The Jimi Hendrix Experience konsertoi Helsingissä 22. toukokuuta 1967 Suomessa. Konsertti oli onnistunut. Hendrix vieraili myös Yleisradion musiikkiaiheisessa TV-ohjelmassa, mutta taltioinnin päälle nauhoitettiin – videonauhat olivat kalliita - myöhemmin muuta materiaalia, koska sitä ei pidetty arvokkaana. Löytyisiköhän tämä taltio, jostain sen aikaiselta videolta? Aina löytyy museolaite, jonka avulla1960-luvun videoita voidaan siirtää formaatilta toiselle. Itse olin v. 1989 Kuopion kaupungin videotyöpajalla ottamassa tuollaisen laitelahjoituksen Turo Oy:ltä vastaan
